This jacket is a double-layer construction, permanently bonded to a technical knit fabric using a hot-melt adhesive process. The outer layer retains the signature embossed honeycomb texture of piqué, while the adhesive layer effectively blocks airflow for exceptional warmth. This double-layer composite fabric significantly increases thickness and sturdiness, making it wrinkle-resistant and far more resistant to deformation than single-layer piqué, while retaining its moisture-wicking and breathable qualities.
The chest section is controlled by a computerized embroidery machine's high-precision computer system, which coordinates the machine head, needle bar, and bobbin. The fabric frame precisely moves horizontally and vertically, creating a stitch path and adjusting the tension of the upper and lower threads to ensure a smooth, flawless stitch, resulting in a precise pattern with an accuracy of ±0.1mm.
The ribbed knit, primarily made of wool, creates a natural stretch collar that adapts to varying neck curves, avoiding tightness or bagginess for a more comfortable fit. Steam ironing ensures crisp, even folded for extended periods.
